  • Scorecard Ultimate (Dashboard that gives stunning visual control and integrated to your processes, applications and the intranet; powered by the leading EPM suit of applications from Corporater.

You can also look at stregthening just one leg of the Balanced Scorecard (ex. Internal Processes), to start with.

Methodology

A typical dashboard implementation could go as follows.

  • Get clarity on the Business Vision, Mission, Objectives, Strategy, and Goals
  • Review the organization structure and roles, responsibilities and KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) for each role
  • Develop a strategy map
  • Identify the outcome measures and performance drivers for the strategic objectives
  • Cascade the measures from strategy level to operational level and tactic level
  • Brain storm and finalize the measures; define the measures, collection method, collection frequency, targets, and threshold limits
  • Fine tune the organization processes / measurement systems, if required
  • Create dashboard; populate data from information systems; enter data where required; integrate with the intranet, organization processes, and application systems. Train users.
  • Make dashboard part of the regular reviews at the organization/group/project level; fine tune the dashboard.

The approach is more or less same for manufacturing as well as services industries; but the type of KPIs & measurements reported can vary.
